B. Public Purpose: The Housing Finance Authority is composed of five (5) residents of the County serving for four (4) years or until their successors are appointed and are qualified. Florida Statutes 159.605 provides that not less than a major of members of the Housing Finance Authority shall be knowledgeable in one of the following fields: Labor, Finance, or Commerce. These are the only qualifications for membership on the Authority, established by Law.

Meeting Dates

The Authority Members of the Osceola County Housing Finance Authority will hold their regularly scheduled public meetings for Year 2026 at 1:00pm at the Hart Memorial Central Library, 211 E. Dakin Avenue, Kissimmee, Florida 34741, on the third Tuesday as follows:

December 9, 2025
January 20, 2026
April 21, 2026
July 21, 2026
October 20, 2026

The meetings are open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Florida Law. A copy of the agenda for a particular meeting may be obtained from the Authority’s Manager at 219 E. Livingston Street, Orlando, FL 32801.

A meeting may be continued to a date, time, and place as evidenced by motion of the majority of Authority Members participating. There may be occasions when one or more Members will participate by telephone.
